Equine Massage Therapy

As an Equissage certified massage therapist, whenever I am faced with a sudden issue involving a horse in training or, more generally, any equine problem, my very first thought is always about what could potentially be causing discomfort for the horse. I consider various possibilities, such as a sore muscle or ill-fitting tack. My primary concern revolves around the question, “What can I fix or adjust to make this horse feel happier and more at ease?” It’s crucial to ensure our equine companions are not only performing their best but also feeling their best.

Full Body

Full body massages are pretty much exactly how they sound! Our primary focus is the entire body, from head to tail, as we find any knots and work diligently to remove them. It's all about providing a comprehensive and relaxing experience that promotes overall well-being and relaxation for our beloved equine friends.

Targeted areas

For targeted sessions, I first truly enjoy getting a clear understanding of what the primary discipline is that the horse has been trained under. Once I have that information, I can tailor my approach and focus on working the specific muscles that are most likely to be affected in that discipline. As we progress through the session, I also take the time to work out any knots and kinks that may arise along the way, ensuring the horse feels their absolute best.
